Canoe Expedition and Explore National Parks - Utah

June 1 - 9, 2024

Immersed in the beauty of Utah’s most pristine areas, this trip will take you into the wild for an adventure filled experience.

Trip Overview

Start off with meeting your guides in Grand Junction, Colorado where we will pack and prepare for our canoe expedition. The next several days of this trip will be on the calm, flat waters of Green River. As we travel deeper into the depths of Labyrinth Canyon we will camp each night along the river. Opportunities for side hikes, swimming, and relaxing the days will bring a sense of awe that never grows old. Upon departure from the river, we take our next few days exploring the famous Arches and Canyonland National Parks outside of Moab, Utah. Our adventure will end back where we started in Grand Junction, Colorado.

Activities

Canoeing - We will spend 5 days tandem paddling on the Green River. Expect to paddle 7 -12 miles a day.

Hiking - There are camps along our journey that provide hiking opportunities. Some of these are exploring canyons and scrambling up rocks and others bring you to breathtaking views.

Camping - From sandbars to shrub oaks, each campsite along the river will provide a different feel. Some nestled into the canyon walls and some right along the water. We will be spending 4 nights along the river camping.

National Parks - Arches and Canyonlands are famous for the arches, buttes, mesas and more. These landscapes show off bright reds contrasting against the deep blue skies that are truly iconic to the southwestern region of the country. Each day there will be short hikes and areas to explore through these parks.
