With over 20 years of experience working with people in outdoor settings, Angie believes that nature and adventure can foster healthier individuals who will, in turn, build stronger communities. An avid outdoor enthusiast from early childhood, she grew up camping, fishing, and hiking in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia.
Angie followed her passion for the outdoors by obtaining her Bachelor’s degree from Radford University with a double major in Recreation, Parks, & Tourism, and Business Management.
After college, she decided to combine her love for being outside and helping others by going to work in wilderness therapy, expedition-based programs, college-prep, and therapeutic boarding schools, leading teens, young adults, and families. She continued on that path, joining the Breakwaters Expedition team in 2017.
When she is not working, Angie enjoys skiing, hiking, mountain biking, and spending time with her husband, friends, and family in Sandpoint, Idaho.
Certifications: Wilderness First Responder, CPR, ACA Canoe Instructor, American Red Cross Lifeguard, Leave No Trace
