In the atmosphere of a wilderness landscape, families are able to suspend the myriad distractions of daily life and rediscover often forgotten gifts of play, humor, gratitude, and understanding. Part or whole family expeditions focus on breaking down barriers and building relationships. Breakwater Expeditions’ team of highly skilled professionals and wilderness guides carefully develop exciting adventures to meet the needs of its participants.

We understand that some families want to bond with each other as well as meet new people. Travel brings us new places, new people, and new perspectives. Our goal is to provide a few trips a year where multiple family units can come together and explore a destination they may not be able to do on their own. In addition, these trips are designed for all generations — from grandparents to toddlers, we want to offer opportunities for everyone to have fun on vacation!
