Example Itinerary - 7 days, 6 nights

Day 1 - Fly into Grand Junction, Colorado and meet your guides. Most groups that fly into the area will stay the night at a hotel. Preparation and packing happen on this evening after dinner.

Day 2 - Drive to the river’s edge. Most trips start at Ruby Ranch in Utah. We have lunch at the put in and make our way down river to our first camp. About 7 or 8 miles.

Day 3 - Today we wake up near Trin Alcove. Option to have a side hike in this canyon with some markings on the walls to look at. We make our way to our next camp about 10 miles. At this camp we will be off the river and under the wide open sky. There is a great side hike from our camp that takes up high to look at why this river is called the Green River and not the Brown River!

Day 4 - Making our way down the river to our Bow Knot Bend camp. This is the side hike that no one should meet. Take it in the afternoon or the morning, the hike skirts up the canyon wall to the ridge. You can see where you have already paddled and where you will paddle in one view. About 12 miles.

Day 5 - Today we make our home around Horseshoe Bend either on a big beautiful sandbar or up along the river’s bank. The last beautiful night sky to enjoy before we get to the end. About 10 miles

Day 6 - Our take out is 7 or 8 miles away at Mineral Bottom Road. At this boat launch we start to get back into civilization as we see other groups putting on the river and taking off. The adventure continues as we make our way up one of the most adventurous roads in the country! Our groups most often go out to celebrate together to say their goodbyes.

Day 7 - Departures home.
