Jan. 3: Everglades City, FL
Meet our guide at the launching area in Everglades City, FL
We will get you packed up and give some lessons about our gear and paddling to get you comfortable.
We will paddle to our first island to set up camp for the evening.
Jan. 4 - 6: Island hoping in our canoes!
Each day we will arise and eat a delicious breakfast. After we get packed up we will spend the day paddling to our next campsite. Along the way we will stop and explore our surroundings. We will have lunch and take a rest from paddling.
Each day we will create opportunities for play, relaxing, swimming, exploring, combing the beach for treasures, fishing, and more.
Jan. 7: Return to Everglades City
We will paddle back to where we started to unload our belongings and say our goodbyes.
Feel free to extend your vacation and stay or begin your travels back home.
Everglades 5-day Paddling Adventure

Come join Breakwater Expeditions on this Florida Discovery Adventure. Come get lost and found amongst the many labyrinth waterways and white sand beaches of Florida’s Everglades National Park. We will paddle 20 plus miles alongside manatees, dolphins, birds and more. After exploring this area you will understand why this is one of Americas most prized national parks. Our discovery adventure will support adolescents building upon life skills — like perseverance through challenges, finding and using inner strengths to support self and group, enhancing resourcefulness, trust ing self and group, and finding gratitude within your life.

Cost: $1400 per person
Note we need a minimum of 3 people to make this adventure happen!
Open to ANYONE! From young to old this trip is for those looking for some fresh ocean air and FUN!
Cost Includes: Personal camping gear, group gear, all boating and safety gear, permit fees, camping costs, meals and snacks during our paddle adventure, and professional guide services to navigate and facilitate this amazing experience.
Clothing: Breakwater Expeditions will provide a packing list for personal items prior to the trip.
Guides: 1-2 qualified Breakwater Expeditions guides will provide a safe, fun, and meaningful adventure.
Climate: Temperatures 60 - 85 degrees
Tents: We sleep in 2 and 3 person high-quality tents.
Canoes: Sturdy tandem canoes and possible sea kayaks.
Paddling: Mix length paddle days with time for relaxation and exploration of beaches
Cuisine: Healthy fresh food, vegetables, fruits, nuts, grains, and meats. We accommodate dietary needs.
