Next Summer Teen Trip!

Yellowstone Summer Teen Experience

August 8th- 15th, 2018

A Boots and Packs Trip (8 days)

Get out and adventure! This experience will provide the opportunity for exploration and investigation while hiking in Yellowstone National Park. The strength-based, fun, dynamic, natural, and unique programming will use the powers of the environment as a catalyst and stage for students to focus on commandeering their life’s journey. Yellowstone National Park provides appropriate challenges with it’s powerful and extraordinary environment. Students will be met with high-spirited and dynamic challenges that will require them to work collectively to problem-solve, take initiative, create a vision, and develop leadership skills. These challenges will only bring the daily laughter and fun as we all get to know each other in a new way. Additionally, teens will develop expedition-based skills such as camp crafts and navigation. Our experiences are led by knowledgeable and highly-skilled professional guides.

The Destination

Our journey will begin with students flying into Bozeman, Montana.  Here the group will gather, and prep for their journey in the backcountry of Yellowstone National Park. While in the park, we will take the road less traveled and get off the beaten path to experience and see the vast and wonderful sights and sounds that only Yellowstone has to offer. Yellowstone spans almost 3,500 miles, and extends into parts of Montana and Idaho, making it one of the largest national parks in the US. Wonders abound at this truly unique national park, from sites like the Yellowstone Grand Canyon to wildlife like America’s largest buffalo herd, grizzly bears, and wolves. Established in 1872, Yellowstone National Park was America’s first national park. To this day, Yellowstone remains one of the country’s most popular national parks with millions of annual visitors.
